An image circulating on X purportedly shows a man resembling former US President Barack Obama walking alongside a woman outside what appears to be a hotel.
The user, @iamvictor_ec, presented the image as evidence of Obama being with his alleged “side chick.”
He wrote: “Obama captured leaving a hotel with his side chick despite being married to Michelle.”
As of Oct. 26, 2026, the post has garnered over 1.9 million views, 364 comments, 276 reposts, 1.1k likes, and 247 bookmarks.
DUBAWA observed that some users believed the post, while others questioned its credibility.
Reacting to the post, X user @justmercy_ asked, “So, at his age, he’s still cheating?”
Another X user, @tee_hiii, said, “This man is moving weird like his fellow black men.”
But @RountreeRonda believes scandal could never stick to the former U.S. President. “It doesn’t matter what you do or say; no scandals on the Obamas. Now, try the freak with the red hat.”
DUBAWA decided to investigate the claim because of the personality involved and the post’s high engagement.
Verification
DUBAWA carefully observed the image, and it appears to be manipulated. We further examined the image using AI-detection and verification tools to assess whether it was authentic or AI-generated.
The results flagged the image as likely AI-generated, raising doubts about its authenticity. AI-detection tool WeDetect gave an 80% AI probability.
