On March 13, 2025, a Facebook user with the handle Ama Darling Blog news boasting over 180,000 followers uploaded a video with a caption claiming they had been exclusively invited to the home of award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.
The video, which also appeared on different Instagram and TikTok accounts, featured a compound filled with high-end vehicles such as Rolls-Royces, Ferraris, Maybachs, and Bentleys.
A voiceover in Twi stated, “I was there when Sarkodie invited me to his house. When I got there, there were so many cars. I never knew he had a Rolls-Royce. Sarkodie is very wealthy. A lot of people don’t know about it.”
The post gained significant traction, amassing 14.4k likes, 406 comments, 239 shares, and 1 million views. It sparked debates among viewers, with some asserting Sarkodie could afford such luxury while others questioned the claim’s authenticity.
Several comments veered into unverified political allegations and speculation. For instance, Felix Dadzie wrote, “Dr*g dealings cause it’s what NPP was using him to do now it’s over,” while Godwin Amaru Palmer commented, “Ghana money Akufo Addo package give I’m that.”
Others, like Don Henry Westerman Flex, suggested Sarkodie owns a Rolls-Royce but questioned the ownership of the house: “Sark bought Rolls Royce in 2021. He didn’t make noise… The local champion is advertising Rolls Royce for his friend who sells cars, and there is plenty of noise claiming he owns it.”
Given the post’s viral spread and its potential to mislead the public, DUBAWA investigated the claim.
Verification
DUBAWA examined past instances where Sarkodie publicly showcased his residence on social media to verify the claim. One notable event was in September 2018, when Sarkodie invited ten up-and-coming rappers to his home to record his viral track, ‘Biibi Ba’.
Bloggers widely shared videos from that event that offered a glimpse of Sarkodie’s compound as the rappers freestyled. However, the compound in those videos does not match the expansive property shown in Ama Darling Blognews’ recent post.

Sarkodie’s manager refutes the claim his artiste owns this house and cars in a viral video.
Moreover, the 2018 footage revealed a more modest setting, lacking the fleet of luxury cars or the scale of the house depicted in the March 2025 video.
Despite the differences in the two pictures, there is a possibility that the rapper’s financial status may have changed, together with his acquired taste of luxury.
So, to probe further and deeper into the claim, DUBAWA contacted Sarkodie’s manager, popularly known as Angel Town, for clarity. He dismissed the claim, stating, “Oh how, this is not even Sark’s compound.”
While Sarkodie is known to be secretive and to own expensive vehicles, such as a Range Rover and a Mercedes-Benz, there is no evidence that he possesses the array of supercars or the property featured in the video.
Conclusion
The video claiming that Ama Darling Blog News visited Sarkodie’s house where he saw a luxurious mansion and a fleet of cars is false. Evidence from past public footage of Sarkodie’s home and confirmation from his manager disprove the assertion.
