In a move reminiscent of the biblical story of Noah and the Ark, a video has gone viral just a few days before the 2025 Christmas festivities, alleging that scores of people are flocking to an unidentified location to board an ark.

The narrative was that these people were in a rush to secure their spots on an ark because a self-acclaimed prophet, “Ebo Noah,” claimed there would be flooding lasting three years.

On X, a user, @Onsogbu, shared a  video depicting several believers trooping to an unknown location to secure a spot on “Ebo Noah’s ark.”

“Ghanians are rushing to secure their place in one of the 8 arks built by Prophet Eboh Noah, who said God showed him that the world will end tomorrow, December 25th, by flooding, and only those who entered his ark will be saved,” the video was captioned.

This video also garnered 124,000 views, 187 bookmarks, 339 likes, and 225 reposts as of Dec. 25, 2025, with several commenters noting the gullibility of those prone to believing such prophecies.

“Brainwashed ignorant people. When they won’t read the Bible for themselves, somebody must read it and tell them what it says to justify their idiosyncrasies. “My people perish for lack of knowledge,” @Jjohnsonolonade commented.

DUBAWA decided to investigate the video’s veracity to ascertain whether it corroborated the narrative described.

Verification

DUBAWA conducted a Google reverse image search with keyframes obtained from InVID. Results from the reverse image search indicated that the location in the video is Our Lady of Calvary Grotto, Asueyi.

Additionally, a Google search for “grotto” revealed that the video was uploaded to Facebook by Obidihyie Kwaku Atiemo on December 23, 2025. The video was captioned:

“A large crowd of Ghanaians have gathered at the Our Lady of Calvary Grotto at Techiman. A significant Catholic pilgrimage and retreat centre located in Asueyi, near Techiman, Ghana. They are visiting the grotto and also pray as Christmas approaches.”

Our Lady of Calvary Grotto is a designated sacred site for periodic Catholic gatherings, located in Techiman, Bono East Region. Techiman is 230 to 250 miles away from the coast, where most of the “alleged arks” were located.

Additionally, DUBAWA contacted Belinda Tetteh of Globe TV, a media outlet in Techiman, who confirmed to DUBAWA that there was no such incident at the site on Dec. 24, 2025, related to the “Ebo Noah” situation.

“No, this was not even for that purpose. They are all Catholics who go for a grotto crusade once every year,” she said, commenting on the video.

Conclusion

The claim that several people believed and trooped into a location to secure spots on the “Ebo Noah” ark is misleading. The video is unrelated to the narrative.
