The claim has also been shared on the X account of LuvFM995.
The claim states: “Ghana’s economy grew by 6.3% in the second quarter of 2025; the highest quarterly growth since 2019 – GSS.”

DUBAWA reviewed official data from the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) to assess the claim’s accuracy. The evidence shows that it is false.
Ghana’s GDP expanded by 7.2% in the third quarter of 2024, which is higher than the 6.3% recorded in Q2 2025.
This figure is documented in the GSS Statistical Newsletter: Gross Domestic Product, Third Quarter 2024 (July-September).
Data from the Ministry of Finance also reflects this 7.2% growth.
