A photo of American rapper, Kanye West, wearing a very large boot has gone viral on social media.
The height of the shoe is almost at the knee level of the musician.
The photo appears to have originated from Instagram where it was posted by @itsmaysmemes, an account known for manipulating the outfits of celebrities.
Several users on Facebook, Twitter, and other online platforms have since shared the image of the rapper in the large boot with captions suggesting the image is original.

A search on Google led DUBAWA to a publication on the website of GQ, an American international men’s magazine.
The publication, dated May 23, 2022, was about the musician’s boot, describing it as “enormous” and “one of the largest ever seen.”
However, the size of the boot in the story is not the same as what has gone viral on the internet.
Another publication on Vogue, headlined “Ye Wore Balenciaga’s XXL Boots Before They Even Hit the Runway,” also did not have the musician in the boots that is being circulated online.

The photo can indeed be found in the image collection of Getty Images.
The caption for the photo reads:
