Claim: The claim by an X user (Twitter (Archived) that a blue Saloon car was impounded in Bolgatanga for carrying ballot papers is true.

Explanation
A video uploaded on the Facebook page of Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio showed some residents in a heated argument with security personnel who had arrested some residents who had ballot papers that had been thumbprint for NPP’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia. The Ghana Fact-Checking Coalition found that this incident happened at Animgazanga JHS polling station. A WANEP election observer in Bolgatanga Central told the GFC that the blue salon car had swaths of ballot papers in it. The observer also indicated that the vehicle has been impounded and is currently at the Regional Police Command. According to the Northern Regional Peace Council, the car has been impounded by the police.
