Some social media users are sharing a photo featuring Samira Bawumia, wife of Ghana’s Vice-President and a US police officer.
The image has two frames. In one, Samira Bawumia can be seen smiling as the security officer takes a selfie. The other has the two engaging in a conversation.
Verification
Using a reverse image search, we found that the original photo features the security officer and American Actress Angelina Jolie.
We came across this Instagram post made in November 2020. We also saw an Aug. 2021 post on Twitter using the same photos.
In this Sept. 2017 Twitter post, even though the images are not the same as those in the claim, it shows the same US Security officer interacting with the popular actress.
